Eligibility

English
B.A Degree with English Language and literature / functional/ English/ B.A Communicative English with 50% marks in aggregate or B.A or B.Sc with 50% marks- for part-I English and not less than 50% marks for Master Degree in English language and literature.

Mathematics
B.Sc Degree with Mathematics or Statistics or Applied Statistics as main with 50% marks in aggregate . Candidate with Statistics or Applied Statistics should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Physical Science
BSc Degree with Physics or Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry or BSc Geology or B.Sc Petrochemicals or B.Sc Biochemistry or B.Sc Industrial Chemistry main with 50% marks in aggregate

Natural Sciences
B.Sc Degree with Botany or Zoology or Biochemistry or BSc Plant science (Home Science with Zoology or Botany as subsidiary / Aquaculture (with Biochemistry and Zoology as subsidiaries) Biotechnology or Micro Biology with 50% marks in aggregate

Social Science
B.A Degree with History or Arabic and Islamic History main with 50% marks in aggregate or B.A Degree with Geography , Politics , Economics , Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy or West Asian Studies under Part III and with 50% marks in aggregate.

Commerce
Candidate who have secured M.Com Degree with not less than 50% marks alone are eligible for admission to the Bed course in Commerce. Such candidates are not eligible for admission to any other B.Ed Courses
